Agastya's Legacy
Agastya, a respected sage in Hindu mythology, is linked to South India’s spiritual heritage. He is believed to have lived in Agastya Malai, a mountain in Kerala, and some traditions say he also spent time in Kanyakumari, contributing to its cultural richness. Agastya is also credited with influencing Tamil literature and the development of the Tamil language. His legacy continues to shape the spiritual and cultural history of the region.
